Basketball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott lost against Rogers back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs lost to the Rams on the road by a 54-36 margin. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Rams are ranked 245th).

Scott's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Rogers, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Scott and Cardinal Stritch will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rogers will take on Ellet in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
