Baseball Recap: Schaumburg Comes Up Short

The Schaumburg Saxons came up short against the Evergreen Park Mustangs on Saturday and fell 9-5. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Schaumburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-24. As for Evergreen Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season.

Schaumburg will be playing at home against Zion-Benton at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Evergreen Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
