Volleyball Recap: York Prep Takes a Loss

York Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Volunteers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

York Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-23.

York Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Andrew Jackson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-13.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. York Prep is set to take on their familiar foe Chesterfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson will face off against rival Buford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
