Soccer Game Preview: Pelham vs. Stark

The Pelham Pythons will challenge the Stark Generals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pelham's offense. They came up short against Merrimack Valley on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for Pelham in their meetings with Merrimack Valley: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Stark lost 4-1 to Lebanon on Tuesday.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Stark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Pelham came out on top in a nail-biter against Stark when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Pythons repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
