Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Valley). Everything went their way against the LeRoy Panthers on Monday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The Vikings not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024.
The team relied heavily on Ethan Moore, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Cade Danko was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
The victory made it two in a row for Tri-Valley and bumps their season record up to 8-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for LeRoy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.
