Basketball Recap: PURE Academy Takes a Loss

PURE Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a blow against the Cordova Wolves, falling 71-34. While losing is never fun, the Athletes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Wolves are ranked 127th).

PURE Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Cordova, they moved to 8-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

PURE Academy has already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cordova didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-62 loss against Arlington on the 21st.
