Big Sandy lost against Como-Pickton back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Malijah Francis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ayden Akin was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Big Sandy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Como-Pickton, they pushed their record up to 7-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Big Sandy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
