Basketball Recap: Putnam City Comes Up Short

Putnam City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-25 defeat at the hands of the Del City Eagles. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Putnam City's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Del City, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
