Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlisle). They came out on top against the Cross County Thunderbirds by a score of 21-17 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bison, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Carlisle's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Cross County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carlisle beat the Thunderbirds by a score of 21-18 later that day.
