Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Takes a Loss

San Jacinto lost against Temescal Canyon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The San Jacinto Tigers took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Temescal Canyon Titans. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 882nd, while the Titans are ranked 412th).

San Jacinto's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Temescal Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

San Jacinto has already played their next game (against West Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Temescal Canyon is taking a road trip to take on Elsinore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
