Recap: Harvest Community Warriors vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals
The Harvest Community Warriors were the 53-51 winner over the Bishop Snyder Cardinals when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Harvest Community was beaten by Bishop Snyder 50-12 on Tuesday. Harvest Community found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post eight fewer assists than your opponent.
Rylee Stricklin was Harvest Community's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Elise Harmer held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
Asya Jones was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 steals for Bishop Snyder. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Bishop Snyder's points. Melanni McLeod was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 steals.
Harvest Community's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Harvest Community will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Johns Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Snyder will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Yulee at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Yulee is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
