Soccer Recap: Perryton Takes a Loss

Perryton managed to keep up with West Plains until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Perryton Rangers came up short against the West Plains Wolves, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 593rd, while Wolves are ranked 255th).

Perryton has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. West Plains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Perryton will challenge Pampa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Plains, they will square off against Randall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
