Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Lansing Christian had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the St. Patrick Shamrocks 3-0 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pilgrims also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Lansing Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-10.

Lansing Christian had a senior duo take command as Ava Miller had 14 digs and two aces and Sophia Nielson had nine digs and two aces. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Miller.

Lansing Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Lansing Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for St. Patrick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Lansing Christian and Potterville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Patrick, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ashley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
