They came out on top against the Wayne County Yellow Jackets by a score of 38-26. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Appling County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaiden Knight led the charge by rushing for 89 yards and one score on only 11 carries.
