Softball Recap: Chadron Cardinals vs. Alliance Bulldogs
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chadron). They blew past the Alliance Bulldogs 18-6 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Chadron was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alliance only posted a batting average of .250.
The victory made it two in a row for Chadron and bumps their season record up to 13-14. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 9-23.
Chadron has already played their next contest, a 15-13 defeat against Bayard on the 7th. As for Alliance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-16 win against Chase County on the 5th.
