Recap: Ocala Christian Crusaders vs. Belleview Rattlers
The Ocala Christian Crusaders couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost to Belleview at home by a decisive 32-17 margin on Monday. Ocala Christian lost against Belleview in their previous head to head back in December of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-13 score last time.
Belleview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaliyah Armbrister, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Albanis Mogollon was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Ocala Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Belleview, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Ocala Christian will head out on the road to face off against Riverside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Belleview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
