Baseball Recap: Blue Mountain Takes Down Ranked Richford

Blue Mountain faced Richford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bucks blew past the Falcons 11-3. Considering the Bucks have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Blue Mountain's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Richford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.

Coming up, Blue Mountain is taking a road trip to challenge Bellows Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Richford, they will host Northeastern Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
