Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minden). Everything went their way against the Homer Pelicans on Tuesday as the Minden Crimson Tide made off with a 16-1 win. The Crimson Tide not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2024.

Minden's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Homer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Minden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Choudrant on the 14th. As for Homer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against D'Arbonne Woods on the 13th.
