Baseball Recap: St. Paul Central Minutemen vs. Washburn Millers
If St. Paul Central was riding high fresh off their 20-2 takedown of Harding on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Minutemen fell 13-9 to the Washburn Millers on Tuesday. The Minutemen haven't had much luck with the Millers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Billy Vander Aarde was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Vander Aarde was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Vander Aarde wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit.
