Richfield came tearing into Friday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over the Juab Wasps. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-40 back in January.

Richfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Yardley, who posted ten points in addition to six steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Yardley a new career-high in steals. Slate Reitz was another key player, putting up 13 points.

When it comes to explaining why Juab lost, don't look at Jay Rowley. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Park, who scored nine points and eight boards.

Richfield's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Juab, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-6.

Richfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-43 loss against Delta on the 5th. As for Juab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-66 win against Manti on the 5th.
