Hampshire and McHenry are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Whip-Purs will welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McHenry took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hampshire, who comes in off a win.

Hampshire was handed a 31-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Crystal Lake South 24-21. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Whip-Purs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, McHenry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Central 42-7. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

McHenry's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hampshire, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.

Hampshire won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, slipping by McHenry 17-16. Do the Whip-Purs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
