Basketball Game Preview: North River Christian Chargers vs. Hope Christian Academy

The North River Christian Chargers will head out on the road to challenge Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

North River Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Tuscaloosa Home Educators on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hope Christian Academy beat Heritage Christian Academy 57-53 on Thursday.

Hope Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Aziah Amberson, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Van Cottrill, who put up eight points.

Hope Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for North River Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
