Basketball Recap: Haines Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Haines can now relate to. They came up short against the Metlakatla Chiefs on Friday, falling 60-36. The Glacier Bears haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Haines' record now sits at 8-12. As for Metlakatla, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Haines does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Metlakatla, they and Susitna Valley will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
