Niles entered their tilt with St. Joseph on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Bears. Considering the Vikings have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Niles' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7-1.

Looking ahead, Niles will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Plainwell at 4:00 p.m. As for St. Joseph, they will head out on the road to challenge Norrix at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
