Flambeau has gone 8-2 against Lake Holcombe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Flambeau Falcons will square off against the Lake Holcombe Chieftains at 7:15 p.m. Flambeau has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Flambeau is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Prairie Farm 78-64 on Tuesday.

It was another big night for Dominic Kopacz, who went 12 of 24 on his way to 30 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chanse Ludescher, who went 6 for 13 en route to 12 points and four steals.

Flambeau smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Lake Holcombe came up short against New Auburn on Tuesday, falling 71-51. The Chieftains have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Flambeau's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lake Holcombe, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Flambeau beat Lake Holcombe 81-74 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Flambeau since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
