Volleyball Recap: South Putnam's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

South Putnam's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the North Putnam Cougars by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Elliana Cox paced South Putnam's offense, picking up seven kills. Cox got some help from Mia Wells and her seven assists. Laura-Jane Switzer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory got South Putnam back to even at 5-5. As for North Putnam, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

South Putnam has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Greencastle on the 13th. As for North Putnam, they will be playing at home against Danville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
