Baseball Game Preview: Randallstown Rams vs. Eastern Tech Mavericks

The Randallstown Rams will face off against the Eastern Tech Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Randallstown fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Parkville on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3. The Rams have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Randallstown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That run was Lee's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Eastern Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Sparrows Point on Tuesday and fell 4-3. The loss put an end to the Mavericks' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eastern Tech fell to 2-1. As for Randallstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
