Softball Game Preview: Riverside Vikings vs. Scranton Knights

The Riverside Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Scranton Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Riverside made easy work of Montrose and carried off a 16-8 win. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Meteors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kate Reynolds was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Keller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Meanwhile, Scranton got the win against Greater Nanticoke Area on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-3.
