Baseball Recap: Rauner Comes Up Short

Rauner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks.

Lucas Ghanimah made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Rauner's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
