Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Falls Lake). They never let the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Nathan Stines as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory made it two in a row for Falls Lake and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two games. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Falls Lake will welcome Eno River Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Falls Lake their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they will head out to challenge Woods Charter at 6:00 p.m. on September 5.
