It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Anthony had no problem doing just that on Monday. They managed a 62-58 win over the Meridian Bobcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won six contests in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Meridian lost, don't look at AJ Flenoid. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards. Flenoid is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played. Colin Monan was another key player, shooting 43% from the field en route to 15 points.

St. Anthony's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Meridian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 26-9 record.

Coming up, St. Anthony will challenge Chicago Hope Academy at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Chicago Hope Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something St. Anthony surely won't give up without a fight. Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
