West Allegheny has gone a perfect 4-0 against New Castle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m.

West Allegheny is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Aliquippa on Friday. The Indians took a 19-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quips. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Quips: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, New Castle entered their tilt with Montour on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Spartans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Castle's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for West Allegheny, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went West Allegheny's way against New Castle in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as West Allegheny made off with a 32-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
