The Cambridge Christian Lancers will square off against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Cambridge Christian took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over All Saints' Academy. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ella Swigart made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Swigart was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Tessa Nichols was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Holly Temperley was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seven Rivers Christian walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hurricanes on Tuesday as they made off with a 19-9 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Madalyn Luider was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, nine RBI, and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Outler, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Seven Rivers Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop McLaughlin Catholic only managed four hits.
Seven Rivers Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Cambridge Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
