Amador Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as James Logan only managed seven hits.
Amador Valley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Dougherty Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Dougherty Valley hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Amador Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
