Basketball Recap: Walla Walla Valley Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Prescott last Thursday, Walla Walla Valley Academy came back down to earth. The Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights took a hard 66-48 fall against the Riverside Christian Crusaders on Tuesday.

Riverside Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Morgan out in front who went 7 for 14 on his way to 22 points. Morgan is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Lee, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points.

Walla Walla Valley Academy dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Riverside Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Walla Walla Valley Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-33 defeat against Sunnyside Christian on the 17th. As for Riverside Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-23 victory against Prescott on the 14th.
