Basketball Recap: Slippery Rock Comes Up Short

Slippery Rock lost against Hickory last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Slippery Rock Rockets took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hickory Hornets.

Slippery Rock has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. The win (which was Hickory's third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither Slippery Rock nor Hickory have any future games scheduled.
