Football Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They were dealt a 41-7 defeat at the hands of the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Jackson Ward had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 169 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Kemp Keller, who threw for 165 yards and one touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central is set to take on their familiar foe Conway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Little Rock Christian Academy will face off against rival North Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
