Basketball Recap: Texas Wind Takes a Loss

Texas Wind and Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Texas Wind had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes Storm, falling 70-43. While losing is never fun, Texas Wind can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 989th, while Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes is ranked 103rd).

Texas Wind's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.

Texas Wind wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-43 victory against Christian Home Educators on the 14th. As for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-21 defeat against North Central Texas Academy on the 15th.
