Softball Recap: Pieper Comes Up Short

Pieper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boerne-Champion Chargers. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 12-8.

Pieper's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Boerne-Champion, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pieper is set to face off against their familiar foe Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Boerne-Champion will take on rival New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
