Baseball Recap: Wildwood Catholic Comes Up Short

Wildwood Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Atlantic City Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Monday.

Wildwood Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Atlantic City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

Wildwood Catholic has already played their next game (against Lower Cape May), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Atlantic City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
