Baseball Game Preview: Osage Indians vs. Moberly Spartans

The Osage Indians will head out to challenge the Moberly Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Osage came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to Blair Oaks. The Indians have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Moberly waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Hornets. Four seems to be a good number for the Spartans as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Moberly's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Osage, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
