New Manna Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs 60-39 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wind in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

New Manna Christian found their leader in sophomore Noah Davis, who went 9-for-17 on his way to 23 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jace Walker, who shot 63% from the field en route to 13 points and five steals.

Despite the loss, Mountain View Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Dominic Hernandez, who posted nine points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mountain View Christian Academy fell to 2-1.

New Manna Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-43 victory against Tabernacle Christian on the 17th. As for Mountain View Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-49 win against the Conquerors on the 17th.
