Baseball Recap: Drumright Tornadoes vs. Mulhall-Orlando Panthers
Drumright easily dispatched Butner on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Mulhall-Orlando Panthers by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2015.
Lincoln Fisher made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Willing, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Drumright's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Mulhall-Orlando, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
