Volleyball Game Preview: Central Crossing Comets vs. Pickerington North Panthers + How To Watch

Central Crossing hasn't had much luck against Pickerington North recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Comets will square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Central Crossing came up short against Lincoln and fell 3-1.

Central Crossing couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Lincoln a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 25-12, 35-23.

Central Crossing's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kayleanah Degerick, who had 18 digs and two assists, and Aubrey Hecker, who had nine digs. With that strong performance, Degerick is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game. Emily Jude also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Pickerington North made easy work of Westerville Central on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Pickerington North was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.

Pickerington North's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Central Crossing, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Central Crossing might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pickerington North in their previous meeting on September 11th. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
