Soccer Game Preview: Central Woodstock vs. Clarke County

Central Woodstock is 0-10 against Clarke County since May of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Central Woodstock came up short against Rappahannock County and fell 3-1. Central Woodstock have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Clarke County fought the good fight in their overtime game against Page County last Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Clarke County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Central Woodstock, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Central Woodstock couldn't quite get it done against Clarke County in their previous matchup last Monday as they fell 4-2. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
