Softball Recap: Petal Panthers vs. Harrison Central Red Rebels
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Petal walked away with it. They came out on top against the Harrison Central Red Rebels by a score of 9-6 on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Red Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jaley Weathersby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
