Football Game Recap: Anaheim Colonists vs. Ocean View Seahawks

Anaheim was the 17-7 winner over Ocean View when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colonists might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 35-13 to the Seahawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colonists were down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Anaheim still got an impressive performance from Lloyd Nolasco, who rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown.

Ocean View found their leader in sophomore Aidan Bond, who made 15 total tackles (3.0 for loss). Elijah Stokley got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Anaheim and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Ocean View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Anaheim will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Ocean View, they will be playing at home against Santiago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seahawks will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
