Trinity Christian is 3-0 against Thunderbird Adventist Academy since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Coyote are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Thunderbird Adventist Academy came up short against Tri City Prep on Tuesday and fell 31-18.

Trinity Christian will have to keep a close watch on Amer Agok and Amanda Luca, a pair of players who had a big impact on Thunderbird Adventist Academy's prior game. Agok posted nine points and eight rebounds, while Luca scored two points.

Even though they lost, Thunderbird Adventist Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Trinity Christian pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Trinity Christian took their win against Thunderbird Adventist Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 46-23.
