Soccer Recap: Hilliard Comes Up Short

Hilliard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Christ's Church Academy Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Flashes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 back in December of 2024.

Hilliard's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Christ's Church Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4-3 record this season.

Hilliard wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Harvest Community on the 10th. As for Christ's Church Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against University Christian on the 10th.
