Basketball Recap: Dysart Comes Up Short

Dysart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Snowflake Lobos and fell 57-23. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Lobos are ranked 11th).

Dysart's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Snowflake, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Dysart will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Estrella Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Snowflake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-45 win against Fort Thomas on the 20th.
